Warblers, grosbeaks and catbirds are some of the birds that flock near the lush Fremont River, while mockingbirds, swallows and Golden Eagles nest and swoop in the desert. Reptiles in the park include western whiptail lizards, gopher snakes, and the poisonous prairie rattlesnake.
