Description
Western Blue Flax is a wildflower native to much of the western U.S. and to most of Canada. A perennial member of the Linaceae (flax) family, it prefers to grow in sunny meadows and fields. Annual or perennial to 3'. Flowers white to light blue with 5 petals to 2" wide. Petals have darker blue nectar guides. Leaves simple, smooth-edged, narrow to 1" long occurring along entire stem.
