Artist's Description

Day 8, Walking on the grounds of Lyrath Estate Hotel I came across a rabbit. I don't think it was an Irish Hare as it was not very big. Coinn - Rabbit
There werent always rabbits in Ireland! The Normans brought rabbits to Ireland in the 12th century. They love to make burrows (dig holes). Rabbits have up to ten babies in every litter. Rabbit babies are born with no fur and are blind. Unfortunately, most wild rabbits dont even live to the age of two. c76 2895
